Australian Food Super is aware of a cyber incident which is currently affecting some superannuation funds.

Australian Food Super advises that our fund has NOT been impacted by the reported incidents and all Australian Food Super members remain unaffected.

Australian Food Super advises members that we are monitoring the situation very closely and continue to take all necessary precautions and safeguards to protect the information and funds of our members.

We understand that the incidents reported in the media are concerning in nature and have raised concern and alarm in the community. However, Australian Food Super remains unaffected by these reports.

We are actively monitoring all member accounts and are closely reviewing all pension member accounts as an added precaution. We are actively monitoring developments and continue to implement appropriate cyber risk management controls to mitigate cyber risks to our members.

Australian Food Super strongly recommends to members that the password used to access your account must be unique and should never be used for any other services. If this is not the case for your account, we advise that you should immediately update your Australian Food Super account password to a unique password or passphrase as a precaution. Australian Food Super strongly recommend that Two Factor Authentication is activated on your account as an added layer of safety.
